Nokia Messaging Goes to Hungary

Pannon, T-Mobile and Nokia announced today that mobile phone users in Hungary would soon be able to enjoy Nokia Messaging, the email service from the Finnish handset maker. The service comes to all Pannon customers and to T-Mobile’s postpaid users, the companies announced. What Nokia Messaging is set to deliver to users includes push e-mail capabilities, support for leading e-mail solutions, including Ovi Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail, and Yahoo! Mail, as well as support for local email services, such as Citromail, Indamail and Freemail.

“In today’s world, access is of key importance – not only the access to information but also the access to each other. Mobile phones pose an obvious solution to keep in touch with each other, and the combination of a handset and an e-mail solution is perfectly in line with Pannon’s goals to offer services to our customers that make their lives easier” commented Gergely Laczko Toth, acting CMO of Pannon.

The Nokia Messaging service, as many of you might already know, is an easy to set-up email solution that enables users to mobilize a number of up to ten personal email accounts on a single Nokia mobile phone.
